The Ride, First-Hand

The Canyon Coaster doesn’t scream for attention. It hums. You’ll hear it before you see it—carts gliding through pine trees, riders laughing as they zip down a mountainside built for fun but shaped by nature. You sit low to the track, hands on the brake if you want it. No loops, no jolts, just smooth, quiet speed. The first turn hooks you. The second one gets you leaning into it. And by the last stretch, you’ll want to go again.

Built for All Ages

This one’s family-friendly in the best way. Kids as young as 9 can ride solo, and younger ones can team up with a grown-up in a tandem cart. It’s safe, mellow enough for first-timers, and fun enough for teens and adults to take seriously. No stomach-dropping moments, just good clean thrill.

More Than Just the Coaster

On-site, you’ll find mini bowling, an arcade, a snow tube hill (in winter), and a wide patio space that makes it easy to hang out between rides. The bar serves frozen cocktails and Arizona brews. There’s food too—think burgers, pizza, and kid-friendly snacks. It’s casual, come-as-you-are, and easy to enjoy without a big plan. Hankering for a bigger meal? The best steak house in Northern Arizona, Miss Kitty’s is less than a minute away.

Stay Next Door

Trailborn Grand Canyon is right next door. Literally. You can ride in the morning and walk back to your room for a swim, a nap, or a drink by the fire pit. Our rooms are made for laid-back travel: soft lighting, warm textures, and enough space for families, couples, or whoever’s riding with you. When the coaster slows down, you don’t have to.
