What is Trailborn Grand Canyon?

We’re a redesigned and renovated 96-room American-West-inspired hotel located on Route 66 in Williams, AZ. Our hotel is located just over 50 minutes from the Grand Canyon National Park, one of the seven wonders of the world.

Do you have a restaurant on property?

In late winter, Miss Kitty’s, our full-service Southwestern steakhouse, will officially open with a robust menu of cocktails, reimagined Western staples, and of course, plenty of steak and sides.

Please note that Miss Kitty’s is not currently open.

Are you within walking distance to shops and restaurants?

Our hotel is located in downtown Williams, Arizona, which is organized around Historic Route 66, and runs through it roughly east-west, parallel to the train tracks, and is lined with shops and restaurants. Visit our “In the Area” page on our Field Guide to see our recommendations around town.

How close are you to the Grand Canyon?

Located in the heart of the gateway town to the Grand Canyon, this newly renovated (and pet-friendly) hotel is just over 50 minutes from Grand Canyon National Park. Please see our “Park Tips” in our Field Guide on the website for additional information and need-to-know details.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we do have an outdoor pool and a hot tub, but they are not currently open.

Do you have any recommendations for activities or restaurants in Williams?

There are great eateries in both Grand Canyon Village and the town of Williams, and many activities beyond ogling the canyon itself. In addition to our on-site full-service restaurant, Miss Kitty’s (opening late Winter 2025), there are many eateries in the town of Williams. You can find our recommendations on our website in our Field Guide.

What is your destination amenity fee and what does it include?

Our destination amenity fee (listed as DAF on your folio) is $8.99/day. This fee includes the following:

  • Daily parking
  • Exclusive pool access (opening soon)
  • Lawn games
  • Cruiser bikes (based on availability)
  • On-site programming

Room Types

What's the difference between room types?

Base amenities, such as in-room Huck coffee, Grown Alchemist bath products, and lightweight Trailborn cooler bags are present in every room. The rooms differ in bed type, number of beds, and overall size.

How many people can you fit in a room?

Rooms with standard king beds can accommodate up to two guests, Rooms with two queen beds can accommodate up to four guests. Please contact us with any further questions.

Do you have rollaway beds or cribs?

We have a limited number of Rollaways and Pack n Plays available on request. If you know that you need one, please let us know prior to your arrival so we can set them up in your room. Please note that due to the limited availability, only one can be provided per room, and we cannot guarantee availability if they are not requested in advance.

What is included in each room?

You will receive a Guide to Your Stay during check-in, which will inform your stay at the property. It includes everything from a property map, how to access WiFi, how to use the in-room amenities, restaurant hours, where to book experiences and much more.

Miss Kitty’s is located next to Camp Hall at Trailborn Grand Canyon.

What type of food is served at Miss Kitty's?

Is breakfast included with my daily rate?

Miss Kitty’s will offer a light breakfast daily with Brunch on the weekends starting in late Winter 2025.

Cancellations & Hotel Policies

What’s your cancellation policy?

If canceling within 48 hours of the stated check-in time (4 pm) on the day of arrival, your one-night deposit will be forfeited. When booking advance purchases or e-special rates, a full deposit would be forfeited if the reservation is canceled. Cancellation policies are subject to change depending on the specific rate or package booked.

What is your destination fee and what does it cover?

Is your hotel pet-friendly?

Yes! At Trailborn Grand Canyon, we love dogs. Pets are permitted in certain guest rooms for a fee. Please be sure to let us know when you make a reservation if you plan on bringing your furry friend by giving us a call or sending us an email at grandcanyon-reservations@trailborn.com.

Is there a cost to bring my pet?

Are there any pet restrictions?

We do currently have a weight restriction of under 40 lbs per dog. No more than 2 pets are allowed per room.

You are responsible for providing your dog with food, and ensuring that they are walked/exercised. Please remember to clean up after your pups and keep them leashed!

We are located just over 2.5 hours from Phoenix International Airport.

How far are you from Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona or Las Vegas?

We’re close!
Flagstaff: 45 minutes

Las Vegas: 3.5 hours

Do you host weddings on your property?

How do I book experiences?

You can book experiences directly on our website on our Experiences page.

Do I need to book my experiences in advance?

Yes, each of our experiences has different advanced booking rules. If there is an experience you would really like to participate in at the last minute, please speak to our onsite team and they will do their best to arrange.

Are experiences open to non-guests?

At this time experiences are for guests only.

Where do offsite experiences leave from? Is transportation provided?

Most of our offsite guided experiences leave from the Trailborn Grand Canyon lobby unless otherwise noted. All hikes include door-to-door transportation from Trailborn Grand Canyon. If you are participating in specific activities, you need to meet in an alternate off-site location. Please check the Experiences page on the website.

Will there be other guests or are these private experiences?

Our experiences are open to all guests, however, you may book all spots in an experience or be the only group to book an experience.

What is the Market?

The Market is our on-site grab-and-go store, with a variety of snacks and beverages and Trailborn branded merchandise. It’s located in Camp Hall in Trailborn Grand Canyon.
