Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust safeguards the unique land and trails of the Cashiers Plateau and the Blue Ridge Escarpment.

Protecting the land

We donate $1 for every Trailborn stay booked on trailborn.com to support local land conservation efforts within national parks and state lands. Education, community volunteering and trail maintenance are key pillars of this work. Our partners include Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust, Grand Canyon Conservancy, and NC Coastal Federation. With each new Trailborn hotel, we'll continue to collaborate with partners to help protect our extraordinary outdoor destinations.

We worked with top architects and designers to adapt and reuse the existing building structure, while modernizing and beautifying every space and landscaping with native plants.
