Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Gift Cards may be applied to room reservations and eligible on-property purchases including dining, retail, and activities. Eligible purchases do not include advance purchases, deposits, amounts securing a room reservation, online travel agency reservations, crew rates, payments for meetings, catering or group functions, or negotiated rates (including volume, group, contracted, or previously negotiated rates, whether paid on a group or individual basis). You may not use a Gift Card to purchase another Gift Card.

Gift Cards may not be used at third-party businesses, including third-party businesses located within or on the same property as a Participating Location — for example, an independently operated coffee shop or boutique — or for ticketed events and pre-booked experiences delivered by a third party. Participating Locations may change at our discretion.

We may apply additional security and verification procedures at the time of redemption for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.

4. How Gift Cards Work

Gift Cards must be activated before use and carry no value until activated. Activation occurs at the time of purchase. No fees are imposed on purchasers or recipients in connection with the sale of a Gift Card.

A Gift Card is a prepaid card, not a credit or debit card. Gift Cards are issued in United States Dollars.

Each transaction, including any applicable federal, state, or local taxes, is debited against your Gift Card balance. If a transaction exceeds your balance, you must pay the difference using another payment method. Once you have used the full value of a Gift Card, it becomes inactive.

Gift Cards may not be resold, exchanged for another gift card, used outside Participating Locations, or used for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes, promotional, or commercial purposes. You agree not to use a Gift Card in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Trailborn or our guests.

We may, without notice, void or deactivate Gift Cards without refund, suspend or close Cardholder accounts, require alternative payment, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative payment methods if we suspect a Gift Card was obtained or used unlawfully, fraudulently, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

You may not redeem a Gift Card if you are not its intended recipient. You are the intended recipient if the Gift Card was given to you as a gift. You are not the intended recipient if you obtained it by deceiving the purchaser, even if they transferred it willingly at the time.
