Queen’s Coronation

The Queen’s Coronation marks the official start of the festival. This free event takes place aboard the USS North Carolina and celebrates the arrival of Queen Azalea. Queen announcements are made closer to the festival dates.

Azalea Festival Parade

One of the most anticipated events of the weekend, the Festival Parade runs along 3rd Street from Market Street north to Brunswick Street.
