With versatile indoor and outdoor spaces for 10 to 150 guests, onsite dining, and endless ways to get out on the water, the property feels more like a laid-back coastal campus than a traditional conference hotel.

Reserve rooms in the main hotel or pair your event with The Beach House—our 13-bedroom home next door that can host leadership teams, project groups, or the whole group under one roof. However you configure it, everyone gets the ease of staying on-site and being a quick flip-flop walk from your next session.

Event Lawn & Gardens
Our Oceanfront Event Lawn and Gardens bring the best of Wrightsville Beach to your agenda. Use the space for outdoor sessions, cocktail receptions, seafood boils, team games, or closing-night celebrations under the sky. With private nooks and wide-open corners, it’s easy to design an experience that moves between work and play without ever leaving the property.
The Tides Ballroom
With ample space and soaring 18-foot ceilings, the Tides Ballroom is our largest indoor venue. Teak and maple floors, modern chandeliers, and a clean coastal palette set the tone for everything from general sessions and trainings to awards dinners and evening events. Configure the room theatre, classroom, or banquet-style for a space that feels polished but never stuffy.
The Sunrise Room
Steps from the Atlantic, the Sunrise Room features a wall of windows and garden views, with doors that can open to let in the ocean breeze. It’s a flexible space for mid-size meetings, workshops, and breakouts, and can be split into two smaller rooms when you need parallel tracks or separate social spaces. Conference, classroom, reception, vendor tables—it’s an “all of the above” kind of room.
The Sunset Room
Overlooking the Soundside, the Sunset Room is a sleek, comfortable boardroom with natural light and views of Banks Channel. It’s perfect for executive sessions, strategy meetings, or small-group teambuilding and brainstorming sessions. Concealed whiteboards on each wall make it easy to capture ideas, sketch roadmaps, or keep key notes visible as you work.
The Beach House
Set between the ocean and the sound, The Beach House at Trailborn Surf & Sound is your group’s basecamp for coastal adventure. With 13 bedrooms and 15 beds, it’s built for gathering, brainstorming, and making waves together.
